Are they kidding??? They want to let prisoners out, those with life sentences, because they were not adults at the time of the crime. Who exactly is they? I don't know who they are but they better get their shit together. There were three examples in our paper on Sunday. One shot his dad in the face and neck, wrapped him in plastic and set the house on fire. By all means - let him out. He can stay in our basement. This is just one case. The rest were just as bad. I was listening to the radio this morning and Kym Worthy, Detroit Prosecutor, gave her example of someone being beat to death with a ball peen hammer. These fun loving kids are just products of their environments. That's the only way they know how to survive. That's how their brains have been wired thanks to having crack whores for mothers, non existent fathers, being beat and tortured themselves. Zero guidance and not one single role model. Not one. And isn't that the saddest thing you've ever heard? Having children and knowing they don't have a chance? You couldn't reach these kids if you took out their brains and put them through the washer. They are damaged goods. It's so unfair that they have to pay the price. So wrong. And then they want to turn them out to a society that isn't going to work with them. You know it's true and you can try to tell me different but I know better. Life isn't fair for any of us. But for these used to be innocent little kids born without an evil bone in their body life is a living hell. Thanks mom. Thanks dad, who ever you are.
