This ain't India, dude

"Smedley," says Biff " look at all the little people down there wishing they were us." It's something that will never go away. I'm better than you are. You will always have to deal with these big booger eaters your entire life. Oh, and you know they ate their boogers just like everyone else did. Sometimes you forget that it's alive and well. What a surprise when it rears it's ugly head again. I thought it was a grade school thing. Then I found out that it goes into junior high and high school. To infinity and beyond. I remember sitting at a soccer game for Cara and there was a select group of parents. If you sat in front of them you could hear their chatter of importance. It was like they were all trying to outdo each other. We would roll our eyes when we heard them talk about stocks, bonds, vacations to their chalet in Cheboygan and the little people who had offended them. They have this trick they pull on you. I think it's call bait and switch. You are okay to be around until someone of their ilk comes along. You are officially the baby with the bathwater. Take your damn cooties and beat it. Now I find out it's even in college. Talk about disappointed. I guess I expected something better from these educated clowns. That was kind of dumb of me, wasn't it? A glimmer of hope perhaps? What if they really are nice people and it's a fear thing. If you are too welcoming to one and all you might end up with an unwanted friend, leech, weirdo etc... I'd like to give these people the benefit of the doubt. Don't believe that. These chumps will always be a little cooler, a little smarter, and three or four steps above you. In reality, I'm looking down on them. I tee hee to all my lowly worms and pat myself on the back for being such a kind and giving person. A wonderful joy to behold. But I'm being nice about it. Honestly, it's a totally different thing when i do it. There IS a difference. I swear.
